Mouse hits the road

If you happen to find yourself in the north west quadrant of America in August for two weeks and are looking for some festivals, then check out Mousey's trip!

Our first stop was the infamous Gilroy Garlic festival!  It's been going for 33 years and now there is over 100,000 people that attend.

They have this great competition for the best garlic recipe.  When Mousey Travel was there, they announced the wrong winner!!!  Agh!  The crowd went wild when the announcer said "Oops."  Boos galore happened!
Look at these amazing, delish-looking, fantastic garlic oysters!!  Look mice have sophisticated pallets!

Yes, that's a giant garlic clove walking around.  One can only assume he was frolicing.

Next stop, Portland!!  Land of the weird.  It just so happens mice love weird.  This is VooDoo donuts, Portland's super famous donut shop.  They have some of the wildest ideas on what should go on a donut.  Mousey's fav?  The bacon donut, of course.

Leaving Portland and making my way on my tandem bike to Idaho.  Couldn't help but stop at the many glorious stops of the most beautiful country!

Idaho-ho-ho!!!  Went straight to Sand Point, Idaho which was voted the most beautiful small town in America.  I see why.

What's a little festival happening without stopping at the Testy Festy!?  Montana, you're nuts.

Oh my gosh.  I took a picture of a couple of girls trying the local fare...  Ew.

 Wyoming

One of the best things about Wyoming?  The National Parks there.  Yellowstone and Grand Tetons are two of the US's finer and larger national parks and mousey travel hit both!!

But all that beauty and mountains left room in the heart for the great plains of Nebraska!!  Totally a different kind of beauty.  You haven't seen a sunset until you've seen it in Nebraska.

Some locals having fun, I suppose...

Utah!!  More National Parks; this time Arches National Park.  Beautiful country and might I suggest a little white water rafting???  Mice hate to get wet and thankfully there was no rocking of his boat!
Shouldn't everyone's bucket list have watch the sun come up at the Grand Canyon???!!!
